Un navire marchand espagnol, \u00e0 cause d&rsquo;une temp\u00eate, a accost\u00e9 \u00e0 Dundee. Il \u00e9tait charg\u00e9 d&rsquo;oranges qui n&rsquo;\u00e9taient plus tr\u00e8s fra\u00eeches. Le mari de Janet, James, a achet\u00e9 les oranges \u00e0 un prix d\u00e9risoire. Janet a cuit ces oranges impropres \u00e0 la consommation avec beaucoup de sucre et les a propos\u00e9es \u00e0 la vente dans leur magasin commun.
