Ce terme myst\u00e9rieux d\u00e9signe, du point de vue de sa fabrication, rien de moins que du nougat noir. L&rsquo;histoire devient cependant un peu plus int\u00e9ressante : le Gianduia a \u00e9t\u00e9 invent\u00e9 \u00e0 Turin. Mais il est plut\u00f4t n\u00e9 de la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9, car \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque de Napol\u00e9on, de lourdes taxes \u00e9taient impos\u00e9es sur le cacao import\u00e9 d&rsquo;Am\u00e9rique du Sud, mettant en p\u00e9ril l&rsquo;existence des chocolatiers turinois. C&rsquo;est pourquoi ils \u00ab\u00a0\u00e9tiraient\u00a0\u00bb leur p\u00e2te \u00e0 chocolat avec des noisettes grill\u00e9es et finement moulues, abondantes dans le Pi\u00e9mont.
