Elle est \u00e9galement \u2013 tout comme la Sicile \u2013 une r\u00e9gion autonome avec pour capitale Cagliari. L&rsquo;\u00eele poss\u00e8de sa propre langue, le sarde, parl\u00e9 par les habitants dans plusieurs dialectes. Dans la ville d&rsquo;Alghero, on parle catalan. La langue officielle est cependant l&rsquo;italien. La colonisation de la Sardaigne remonte \u00e0 au moins 150 000 ans, car les plus anciennes d\u00e9couvertes de restes humains datent de cette p\u00e9riode. L&rsquo;\u00eele, comme toute la r\u00e9gion, a \u00e9t\u00e9 expos\u00e9e aux diff\u00e9rents mouvements de populations, incluant entre autres les Puniques, les Romains, les Ostrogoths et les Arabes. Ce fromage de brebis est r\u00e9pandu dans toute l&rsquo;Italie, mais chaque r\u00e9gion conna\u00eet sa propre variante. La variante sarde s&rsquo;appelle donc <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gustini.de\/index.php?auswahl=shopseite&amp;rubrik1=Suche&amp;rubrik2=pecorino+sardo\">Pecorino sardo<\/a> ou <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gustini.de\/index.php?auswahl=shopseite&amp;rubrik1=Suche&amp;rubrik2=pecorino+susardu\">Pecorino susardu<\/a>. Selon le degr\u00e9 de maturation, il peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 comme fromage \u00e0 table ou comme fromage \u00e0 r\u00e2per, similaire au Parmesan. Comme dans la plupart des r\u00e9gions italiennes, l&rsquo;olive est \u00e9galement cultiv\u00e9e en Sardaigne.
